One Hope for the Heart is a non-profit global organization founded in 2000 by Miriam Ogooro Moore. Our mission is to provide life-changing ministry and counseling services to communities, families, individuals, youth, and businesses worldwide. We focus on every aspect of daily living including education, healthcare, economic, and emotional issues. We believe in divine love and our mandate to reach the lives and hearts of people for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We are a faith-based charity driven by the principles of love, service, healing, and transformation, dedicated to enriching lives through spiritual guidance, practical empowerment, and compassionate outreach. Our aim is to bring hope and light into every home and heart, helping people live purposefully and reach their full potential.

Meet Our Founder
Miriam Ogolo Moore was born in a poor community in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, West Africa, to Mr. and Mrs. Ogooro. She was one of seven children and lived through a rough childhood. At the age of ten, she suffered a horrendous car accident that caused serious bodily injuries and head trauma, and tragically took the life of her twin sister. This traumatic event deeply affected her and contributed to a turbulent teenage period marked by academic and emotional struggles.
Growing up without a supportive family structure, Miriam sought opportunities for growth in her community but found few. Despite these challenges, she persevered and, in 1981, secured employment with the Nigerian Customs Service, where she excelled and quickly rose to a managerial position. Yet, in the midst of her professional success, she felt unfulfilled — sensing a deeper divine purpose beyond personal achievement.
In 2000, responding to God’s call, Miriam moved to the United States to become a missionary evangelist. That same year, she founded One Hope for the Heart, an organization dedicated to serving God by transforming lives around the world.
Today, Miriam is an inspirational speaker, esteemed author, life coach, and strategic advisor to individuals, businesses, and government entities. Through her Kingdom Lifestyle Program, she teaches the values of love, service, and purpose, providing spiritual coaching and counseling to adults, children, and families across nations. Her life and ministry embody resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the healing and empowerment of others.
